JAMES CAHILL is veteran of 15 harvests in Oregon including 5 years as Assistant Winemaker and Operations Manager at our esteemed neighbor, Beaux Freres, as well as 2 years as Vineyard Manager and Co-Winemaker at Elk Cove Vineyards.  He came to Soter as Associate Winemaker in 2002 and now serves as Winemaker and oversees daily operations.  Whether he's in the winery or the vineyards, James is on site every day. He's intelligent, dedicated, highly personable and invigorated by his work. It is his commitment to the study of wine that fits so well with Soter Vineyards' winemaking philosophy.
