Soter Vineyards is a founding member of Method Oregon, a non-profit movement dedicated to establishing Oregon as a world-class traditional method sparkling wine region. Built by and for passionate sparkling winemakers, Method Oregon follows the example set by Oregon's pioneering Pinot Noir producers: uniting voices, honoring place, and holding the work to an exceptionally high standard. When you see the Method Oregon mark, it means the wine was 100% grown, produced, riddled, and disgorged in Oregon, made using traditional method and aged en tirage for a minimum of 24 months. It is a symbol of exceptional quality, deep care for the land, and strong community.
We believe in the movement and this July, we invite you to celebrate it with us.
Friday, July 24 Sparkling School + Bubbles Block Party
The weekend opens with Sparkling School, a deep dive into the whys and hows of Oregon traditional method sparkling wine, hosted at Vinovate from 1-5 PM, featuring a panel discussion moderated by Ray Isle, Executive Wine Editor of Food & Wine, plus riddling and disgorgement tours and a guided tasting flight. As evening falls, the energy moves to Argyle for the Bubbles Block Party (6-9 PM): rare Method Oregon bottlings from select producers, food truck fare, and music by DJ Jimbo. This is the kind of night that reminds you why you fell in love with sparkling wine in the first place, and why Oregon is earning its place among the world's great sparkling regions.
Saturday, July 25 The Grand Tasting at Domaine Willamette
This is the heart of the weekend. Join us and more than 40 Method Oregon founding members as we pour alongside thoughtfully paired bites at the Grand Tasting, hosted at Domaine Willamette. All Access Pass holders receive early admission from 12-1 PM; General Admission opens at 1 PM. Come taste what this land is capable of when farmers and winemakers commit fully to the craft. Wines will be available for purchase.
Sunday, July 26 Choose Your Own Adventure
Sunday is designed for exploration. Member wineries across the Valley will host intimate, one-of-a-kind experiences including library flights, sparkling-paired vineyard lunches, multi-producer collaborations, and more. We are working on something special with our friends at Ambar Estate, and we cannot wait to share the details. Stay tuned, as events will be announced in mid-April, and you will not want to miss ours.
