Spring 2025 Wine Club Release
Dear Members,
There’s something particularly satisfying about Spring. It arrives not with a bang, but a gentle rustle—sunlight inching across the hillside, the first grapevine buds breaking open, and of course, the arrival of your spring wine club allocation. We’re delighted to share this new chapter in the Origin Series: five distinct Pinot Noirs from the enchanting 2023 vintage, each a singular expression of its corner of the Willamette Valley.
2023 was a gift of a growing season. Free from fire, frost, and drama, it offered a graceful return to balance. A wet winter and spring delayed bud break until late April, aligning with some of the region’s historically cool and damp vintages. However, May ushered in warm, sun-filled days with barely a cloud in sight. Bloom arrived in mid-June, with only trace amounts of rain, slightly reducing yields in some areas. Ripening progressed steadily, though veraison—the critical shift from energy growth to fruit maturation—took longer than anticipated. What emerged from this tranquil rhythm is a collection of wines that shimmer with expressive clarity and nuance—alive, with “nervy” energy and ready to be enjoyed.
Wine is ephemeral, yes. But that’s part of the magic. Open a bottle, and you open a moment. A memory waiting to happen. And stay with these young wines, it is ok not to finish a bottle but rejoin it the next evening to appreciate how it relaxes and displays its charms confidently. Follow the links below to explore the wines in your spring allocation.
With gratitude,
