Spring 2026 Wine Club Release

Dear Friends,

Farming has always been at the center of what we do.  Over time, we have worked to close the distance between intention and practice, building the experiential intimacy with the land that allows us to farm with ever increasing harmony. These new red wines represent ongoing efforts that have evolved into the use of more of our own vineyard sources.

Some of you are familiar with our Origin Series wines, a chapter in our work defined by restraint and transparency, where the goal was to let each appellation speak as clearly as we could manage. These new wines carry that same respect for place, but the relationship has deepened. The Dundee Hills, Ribbon Ridge, and Savannah Ridge Pinot Noirs are now farmed to estate standards, on ground we own or control with the kind of long-term commitment that allows us to farm the way we believe in, not just the way circumstances allow. They are not simply expressions of their appellations. They are the very component parts of our Estates bottling, each one a portrait of the specific ground it comes from, standing on its own and each a contributor to the vibrant blend.

These new wines each have their own character and energy, and that distinctiveness is the point. They will reward a little time in the decanter and will show even more of themselves with a year or two of additional bottle age, though they are certainly approachable and enjoyable right now. We suggest best drinking from 2027 through 2030. I hope you taste in them the passion and conviction that land farmed with care and intention has something real to say and that the process is respectful, reciprocal and restorative toward its precious resources.

We are equally proud to share the second release of our Mineral Springs White Label Chardonnay, a wine that continues to deepen our understanding of what this singular place can offer. Sourced entirely from Mineral Springs Vineyard, our 250-acre Biodynamic and Demeter Certified estate in the Yamhill-Carlton appellation, this wine is the product of the same respectful, intentional farming that defines everything we do at Soter Vineyards. The 2023 growing season unfolded with a steady, even rhythm, a temperate spring giving way to a warm and graceful finish that allowed the fruit to develop both depth and clarity without sacrificing freshness. This Chardonnay arrives with a luminous gold color and a glint of green, opening with ripe apple and baked pear, a whisper of caramel, toasted crust, and warm spice, all carried through a long, lifted finish by a current of bright acidity.
