Soter Vineyards Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, online stores, wine club memberships, services, and experiences offered by Soter Vineyards and Planet Oregon (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our websites or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our websites or services.

1. Legal Drinking Age

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine or access certain areas of our websites. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years old. We do not sell or ship alcohol to minors.

2. Use of Our Websites

You agree to use our websites for lawful purposes only and not to engage in any activity that may disrupt, damage, or interfere with our services, systems, or security. Unauthorized use, scraping, or misuse of content is prohibited.

All content on our websites—including text, images, logos, and designs—is the property of Soter Vineyards or Planet Oregon and may not be used without prior written permission.

3. Orders and Payments

All orders placed through our websites are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including due to suspected fraud, compliance issues, or pricing errors.

Prices are subject to change without notice. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

4. Shipping and Compliance

Wine shipments are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws. We only ship to states where legally permitted and require an adult signature (21+) upon delivery.

Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, compliance holds, or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery to the carrier, except where otherwise required by law.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Damaged Wine

Due to the nature of wine, all sales are final, except in cases of damaged, defective, or incorrect shipments.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery with photos and order details so we can evaluate and resolve the issue. Refunds or replacements are issued at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law.

6. Wine Club Memberships & Subscriptions

Wine club memberships are ongoing subscriptions that continue until canceled by the member in accordance with the terms disclosed at sign-up.

By joining a wine club, you authorize us to charge your stored payment method for scheduled shipments. It is your responsibility to keep your payment and shipping information current.

Failure to update payment information may result in delayed shipments, declined orders, or cancellation of membership. Refunds for processed club shipments are generally not available.

7. Tastings, Reservations, and Experiences

All reservations, events, and tasting experiences are subject to availability and may have additional terms, including cancellation policies, communicated at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest in accordance with applicable law and responsible alcohol service practices.

8. Third-Party Services

Our websites may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment processors, shipping providers, compliance tools, and marketing platforms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our websites, products, and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except where prohibited by law.

We do not guarantee that our websites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soter Vineyards and Planet Oregon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our websites, products, or services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable product or service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soter Vineyards and Planet Oregon from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our websites or services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our websites. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
